Photoshoot for High Life Homes and some tips on how to photograph Real Estate
Elyse from HighLife Homes called me last week. We went to photograph 2 amazing houses they recently built in Mudgeeraba.Elyse wanted a twilght shoot to make the houses look their best. We where very lucky with the weather as it had rained the last 2 days.Thank you Elyse for a great afternoon, and congratulations on your great homes!
Here is some simple tips on how to better your Real Estate Photography.....
1. Always use a tripod! This will make you have to think about your composition.
2. Twilight photoshoots of porperty will always look more interesting than mid day sunlight. The artificial light illumintes the interior of the house.
3. Use main features of the property in the foreground of the coposition.
4. Try to isolate some of the main features so they stand out when presenting the pictures.
5. Look for clean lines in the composition.
6. Try diffrent lighing
7. Sometimes in tight spaces you need and extra wide angle that could distort your verticle lines, no problem! Correct them with perspectives in photoshop.
8. Here is 2 examples of the same kitchen photographed in 2 different angles. Both work well, and the client will be happy to have a choice.
9. This is the second example.
10. Always make and effort to show the architecture details.
11. Nice clean simple compositions always get the job done.
